Growing Hope Uganda

Let's build community together!

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

At the Friends Community Foundation And Care Home, we believe that each child deserves a chance for a better future and we can do this through uplifting local communities.

We are committed to helping orphaned , abandoned and needy children in different communities, by giving food, clothing and an opportunity to learn.

We try to do whatever it takes for the children everyday, and in times of crisis, giving hope to the hopeless, transforming their lives...and the future we share. We are currently fundraising to build a home with school learning equipment and technical skills empowerment facilities for ORPHANS, ABANDONED CHILDREN, GIRlS, YOUTH AND WOMEN all over the WABULENGA VILLAGE community with the aim of creating a self reliant community.

Be that change today. Together, we can make a difference in many lives thus restoring hope.

OUR HISTORY

Friends Community Foundation And Care Home (FCFCH) is centered in Eastern Uganda ( Busoga region) in a deep village called WABULENGA VILLAGE.

This initiative was founded by Waiswa Moses Elijah and his few friends. They know what it means to lose parents, family, and live on the streets. They understand spending each day searching for something to eat and a place to lay your head (because we grew up parentless too).

We have tried to take these children off the streets and care for them, providing food, clothing, shelter, and education with support through donations.

With the increased numbers of Ugandan orphans sleeping on an empty stomach, poor children whose parents can‘t afford school fees, or even the very basic needs, every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
